During 2021 we will be reviewing which social media and tech companies we list on or whose services we use.
Our aim is to support local companies where we can and to minimise use of global tech companies that do not operate open platforms or act in ethical ways towards start up competitors.
Starting in 2021 we stopped using Twitter as we feel they have not, in our personal view, operated ethically, particularly towards start up competition and local business.
We have stopped using Amazon Web Services for similar reasons. Our websites are hosted on our dedicated high spec servers based in the heart of the UK and managed for us by a local British business.
